KOOL-AID EASTER EGG DYE
For each color, add ½ cup boiling water, 1 teaspoon vinegar, and one packet of Kool-Aid to a cup and stir until the Kool-Aid is dissolved. Softly add your hard-boiled eggs to the dye of your choice (one egg to a cup is ideal) and let sit for 1-2 minutes or until you like the color consistency.
Kool-Aid is an American brand of flavored drink mix owned by Kraft Heinz based in Chicago, Illinois. The powder form was created by Edwin Perkins in 1927.
Cook fresh eggs 12 minutes for hard boiled.
Always start by placing eggs in COLD water then bring to a rolling boil. Cover pan; remove from heat. Let stand 12 minutes, then drain and rinse under cool water.
