Cheesy Garlic Chicken Wraps
Ingredients:
2 large chicken breasts, diced
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 teaspoons garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon paprika
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
4 large flour tortillas
½ cup creamy garlic sauce (store-bought or homemade)
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Instructions:
Season the chicken: In a bowl, toss the diced chicken with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
Cook the chicken: Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Add the seasoned chicken and sauté for 6–8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until fully cooked and golden brown.
Assemble the wraps: Lay tortillas flat and spread a generous layer of creamy garlic sauce on each. Top with cooked chicken, then sprinkle with cheddar and mozzarella cheese.
Toast the wraps: Fold each tortilla in half or roll burrito-style. Return them to the skillet and cook for 2–3 minutes per side, until golden brown and crispy, and the cheese is melted.
Serve and enjoy: Slice in half, garnish with fresh parsley if desired, and serve hot with extra garlic sauce or your favorite dip.
Notes:
Want heat? Add red pepper flakes or hot sauce to the chicken.
Vegetarian swap: Try sautéed mushrooms, zucchini, or bell peppers instead of chicken.
For low-carb, use large lettuce leaves instead of tortillas.
Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days and reheat in a skillet for the best texture.
