🥩🧄 Garlic and Herb Grilled Ribeye 🥩🧄
Servings: 4
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Marinate Time: 30 minutes
Cook Time: 8-12 minutes
Total Time: 50-55 minutes

Ingredients

4 ribeye steaks (about 1-inch thick)
3 tablespoons olive oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons fresh rosemary, chopped
2 tablespoons fresh thyme, chopped
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Salt and pepper, to taste
Lemon wedges, for serving (optional)
Instructions

Prepare the Marinade:

In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, minced garlic, rosemary, thyme, parsley, oregano, paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Marinate the Steaks:
2. Pat the ribeye steaks dry with paper towels.
3. Rub the garlic and herb mixture all over the steaks, making sure to coat both sides evenly.
4. Let the steaks marinate at room temperature for 30 minutes, or refrigerate for up to 4 hours for more intense flavor. If refrigerating, let the steaks come to room temperature before grilling.

Preheat the Grill:
5. Preheat your grill to high heat. If using a charcoal grill, make sure the coals are hot and covered with a light ash.

Grill the Steaks:
6. Place the ribeye steaks on the grill and cook for 4-6 minutes per side for medium-rare, or 6-8 minutes per side for medium. Adjust the cooking time based on your preferred doneness. Use a meat thermometer for accuracy: 135°F (57°C) for medium-rare, and 145°F (63°C) for medium.
7. Avoid pressing down on the steaks while grilling to retain their juices.

Rest and Serve:
8. Remove the steaks from the grill and let them rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
9. Serve with lemon wedges on the side if desired.

Tips:

For extra flavor, you can add a pat of compound butter on top of the steaks just before serving.
If you like a smoky flavor, consider adding wood chips to your grill.
Enjoy your flavorful and juicy Garlic and Herb Grilled Ribeye! 🥩🧄
