Old Fashioned Sweet Potato Pone

I am not sure why they called this Pone. I have NOT tried this recipe. It reads more like a Casserole. If anyone tries it, please let me know how it was. I do remember eating something with sweet potatoes and raisins, but I am not sure if this is it or not.
