• 1 cup (250g) unsalted butter (room temperature)
• 3 cups powdered sugar (sifted)
• 2 tbsp heavy cream or milk
• 1 tsp vanilla extract

2 Gradually add sifted powdered sugar and mix slowly to combine.
3 Add vanilla and milk/cream, and beat until smooth and creamy.

🌹 How to Pipe Buttercream Roses
• Use a piping bag fitted with a large star tip (like Wilton 1M or 2D).
• Starting in the center, pipe in a spiral outward motion to create roses.
• Practice on parchment first if needed.
• Decorate the top and/or sides of the cake with buttercream roses in different shades for a floral look.
🧁 Cake Assembly
1 Slice each cake layer in half horizontally to create 4 thin layers.
2 Place the first layer on a cake board or stand. Add a layer of buttercream.
3 Repeat with all layers.
4 Apply a thin layer of buttercream all over the cake (crumb coat). Chill for 15 minutes.
5 Frost with a final layer of buttercream.
6 Decorate the top with buttercream roses in a variety of colors.
✨ Tips:
• Chill your cake layers before decorating for easier stacking.
• For a romantic ombré effect, use a gradient of pink tones.
• Store in the fridge, but let sit at room temperature for 20–30 minutes before serving.
