Golden Crusted Turkey and Broccoli Casserole
Ingredients:
- 1 pound ground turkey
- 1 head of broccoli, chopped
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 tablespoon butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Bread crumbs for the golden crust
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
2. In a skillet, cook the ground turkey until browned. Add in the chopped broccoli and cook until broccoli is tender.
3. In a separate saucepan, melt butter and whisk in flour to create a roux. Slowly add in milk while whisking to create a creamy sauce.
4. Mix the turkey and broccoli mixture with the creamy sauce and pour into a baking dish.
5. Top with shredded cheddar cheese and bread crumbs for the golden crust.
6. Bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly.
