🇮🇹🥮 Baba al Rum
You Will Need:
250 g (2 cups) flour
3 eggs
100 ml (½ cup) milk
7 g (2 tsp) dry yeast
50 g (¼ cup) sugar
80 g (⅓ cup) butter
Syrup: 200 ml (¾ cup) water, 100 g sugar, 50 ml rum
Whipped cream for topping
Instructions:
🥣 Mix yeast with warm milk and sugar. Add eggs, flour, butter — knead.
🌡️ Let rise 1 hour, then bake small cakes at 180°C / 350°F for 25 minutes.
🍯 Dip in rum syrup and top with whipped cream.
