Creamy Alfredo Lasagna Soup
Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground Italian sausage
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 2 cups water
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 8 oz lasagna noodles, broken into pieces
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh basil, for garnish
Instructions:
1. In a large pot, cook the Italian sausage over medium heat until browned. Add the onion and garlic, and cook until softened.
2. Pour in the chicken broth, marinara sauce, and water. Bring to a simmer.
3. Stir in the heavy cream and lasagna noodles. Cook until the noodles are tender, about 10-12 minutes.
4. Remove from heat and stir in the mozzarella and Parmesan cheese. Season with salt and pepper.
5. Serve hot, garnished with fresh basil.
