🦆🇫🇷 Rillettes de Canard
Slow-cooked shredded duck preserved in its own fat. A rustic spread best served on toasted bread 🥖🦆.
Ingredients:
• 500 g duck legs
• 200 g duck fat
• 2 garlic cloves
• 1 sprig thyme
• 1 bay leaf
• Salt & pepper
Instructions:
1️⃣ Season duck with salt and herbs, then cook slowly in duck fat for 2–3 hours.
2️⃣ Remove bones, shred meat finely.
3️⃣ Pack into jars, cover with melted duck fat.
4️⃣ Chill until set.
5️⃣ Serve on toasted bread with pickles 🥒.
