Penne with Chicken in a Creamy Cheese Sauce 🍗
Ingredients:
12 oz penne pasta
1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into bite-size pieces
2 tbsp olive oil
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup chicken broth
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Salt and black pepper to taste
1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Directions:
Cook the penne pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chicken, season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
Cook chicken for about 6–8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden and fully cooked. Remove and set aside.
In the same skillet, add garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
Pour in the heavy cream and chicken broth. Stir and let it simmer for 3–4 minutes.
Add mozzarella and Parmesan cheese. Stir until melted and sauce is smooth.
Return chicken to the skillet and mix well. Let it cook for another 2–3 minutes.
Add the cooked penne and toss everything together until well coated in the creamy sauce.
Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.
