Marshmallow-Filled Easter Eggs 🐣
Ingredients:
2 cups powdered sugar
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/4 cup milk
1/2 cup marshmallow fluff
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup chocolate chips (for coating)
Food coloring (optional)
Mini candy eggs or sprinkles for decoration
Instructions:
In a large bowl, combine the powdered sugar and cocoa powder.
Gradually add the milk and mix until it forms a dough. If using food coloring, add it now to make the dough festive!
Fold in the marshmallow fluff and vanilla extract until well blended.
Take a small piece of the dough and shape it into an egg. Repeat until all dough is shaped.
Place the shaped eggs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and let them chill in the fridge for about 30 minutes.
While the eggs are chilling, melt the chocolate chips in a microwave or double boiler until smooth.
Dip each chilled egg into the melted chocolate, ensuring it's thoroughly coated. Place them back on the parchment paper.
While the chocolate is still wet, decorate with mini candy eggs or sprinkles.
Let the chocolate set at room temperature or place them in the fridge for quicker setting.
