Homemade Artisan Bread Rolls
Ingredients:
• 4 cups all-purpose flour
• 1 ½ tsp salt
• 1 tbsp sugar
• 2 ¼ tsp active dry yeast (1 packet)
• 1 ½ cups warm water (110°F)
• 1 tbsp olive oil
Preparation:
In a large bowl, mix flour, salt, and sugar. Add yeast to warm water and let sit for 5–10 minutes until foamy. Pour the yeast mixture and olive oil into the dry ingredients. Mix and knead for 8–10 minutes until smooth. Let the dough rise in a greased bowl for 1–2 hours or until doubled in size. Shape into rolls, place on a baking sheet, and let rise again for 30 minutes. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and bake for 20–25 minutes until golden brown. Let cool before serving.
