Jalapeño peppers contain something called capsaicin, an alkaloid that gives peppers that characteristically spicy quality and it is also responsible for many of their health benefits.

Jalapeños are low in calories and a good source of fiber, vitamin B6 and vitamin C...and pretty BIG on FLAVOR too!

Now, I suggest that you do your own research and make your own judgment about those claims...as for me...I enjoy jalapeno peppers quite often, and have begun to adding them to my meals more, and more...so the health benefits and weight loss claims...just an added bonus...I'll take it!!!

Yep! These spicy little peppers are actually very good for us!
