Easy Creamy Lemon Mousse
Ingredients:
• ¾ cup heavy whipping cream (cold)
• ¾ cup sweetened condensed milk
• ⅓ cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 2-3 lemons)
• Zest of 1 lemon
• Optional: crushed cookies for the base or topping
Instructions:
1. Whip the cream: Using a hand mixer or whisk, beat the cold heavy cream until soft peaks form.
2. Add condensed milk: Gently fold in the sweetened condensed milk.
3. Incorporate the lemon: Slowly add the lemon juice and zest, mixing with a spatula until smooth and creamy.
4. Chill: Pour the mousse into serving glasses and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
