I made the Fathead Pizza
crust for the 1st time.
I am the only one doing low carb/vegetarian in my house
m but everyone LOVED this!
Dough:
-1 1/2 cups Mozerella (I used Fresh because that is what I had
-2 tablespoons cream cheese
- 1 egg
-3/4 cup almond flour
I melted the cheeses together in the microwave.
Once melted I added the almond flour and then the egg and kneaded the dough for a few minutes.
I spread the dough out on a parchment lined large pizza pan. I pressed into the dough with a fork all over. I imagine this was easier to form into a nice even circle because the cheese was fresh and not from a bag ready pre shredded.
I baked in a pre heated 425 degree oven for 14 minutes (till lightly golden)
Toppings: 1/3 cup Rao's tomato sauce, fresh mushrooms, fresh grape tomatoes, Fresh basil, fresh Parmesan cheese
BAKE: bake another 10-15 minutes
