Walking Taco Casserole

Ingredients:
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1 can (10 ounces) diced tomatoes with green chilies, drained
- 1 can (15 ounces) black beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 bag (9 ounces) nacho cheese-flavored tortilla chips, crushed
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- Optional toppings: diced tomatoes, sliced green onions, sour cream, and cilantro
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
2. In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess grease.
3. Stir in the taco seasoning, diced tomatoes with green chilies, and black beans. Cook for another 2-3 minutes.
4. Spread half of the crushed tortilla chips in the bottom of the prepared baking dish. Top with half of the meat mixture and half of the shredded cheddar cheese. Repeat layers.
5. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 20 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
6. Serve hot with your favorite toppings.
