Easy ways to make pickle at home!!🥒
Ingredients
1. Fridge Pickles 🥒
3 cups of white vinegar
3 cups of granulated sugar
1 tablespoon of kosher salt
2 tablespoons of pickling spice
6 dried red chilis, optional
6 sprigs of fresh dill
1 pound of Kirby cucumbers (pickling cucumber), cut into spears, about 4 small cucumbers
1 cup of sliced yellow onion
2. Pickled Cucumber 🥒
🥒1¼ cups of white vinegar
🥒⅔ cup of granulated sugar
🥒1 teaspoon of kosher salt
🥒1 teaspoon of celery seed
🥒¼ teaspoon of red pepper flakes
🥒2 large thinly sliced fresh cucumbers
🥒1 cup of thinly sliced red onion
🥒4 sprigs of fresh dill (I chose to trim the stalks off and left only the dill fronds)
3. Pickled Mushrooms 🍄
🍄1½ pounds of mushrooms (white button, cremini, baby Bella)
🍄1 tablespoon of vegetable or olive oil
🍄1½ teaspoons of sea salt, divided into ½ teaspoon and 1 teaspoon
🍄2 teaspoons of minced garlic
🍄2 cups of water
🍄1 cup of white vinegar
🍄2 tablespoons of granulated sugar
🍄4 cloves whole garlic, sliced thinly
🍄2 teaspoons of black peppercorns, divided among the jars
🍄Bundle of fresh thyme
