🇮🇹 Fegato alla Veneziana (Liver & Onions)
Tender liver slices sautéed with golden onions and herbs — a rich and rustic Venetian specialty.😋❤️
Ingredients:
• 400g calf liver, sliced
• 2 large onions, thinly sliced
• 2 tbsp olive oil
• 1 tbsp butter
• 2 tbsp white wine vinegar
• Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions:
🧅 Heat olive oil and butter in a pan over medium heat.
🍳 Add sliced onions and cook until soft and golden, about 10 minutes.
🥩 Add liver slices, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 2–3 minutes per side.
🍷 Pour in white wine vinegar and let it evaporate for 1 minute.
🌿 Serve warm with fresh parsley or over polenta.
