A comforting veal stew in a creamy white sauce with vegetables and mushrooms.

Ingredients:
• 1/2 pound veal, cubed
• 1 carrot, chopped
• 1/2 cup mushrooms
• 1 small onion
• 1 bay leaf
• 1 tbsp butter
• 1 tbsp flour
• 1/4 cup cream
• Salt and pepper

Instructions:
1. In a pot, cover veal with water. Add carrot, onion, and bay leaf. Simmer for 1 hour.
2. Remove meat and veggies.
3. In another pot, melt butter, stir in flour, and slowly add cooking liquid to make a roux.
4. Add cream, then return meat and vegetables.
5. Stir in mushrooms and cook for 10 minutes. Season and serve warm.
