One-Pan Chicken with Buttered Noodles
Ingredients:
1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch pieces
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp paprika
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp onion powder
1 cup egg noodles
1 cup chicken broth
4 tbsp butter
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a large baking sheet or roasting pan.
2. In a large bowl, toss the chicken pieces with olive oil, salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder. Ensure the chicken is evenly coated with the seasonings.
3. Spread the seasoned chicken in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
4. In the same bowl, you used for the chicken, add the egg noodles and chicken broth. Toss to combine, ensuring all the noodles are coated in the broth.
5. Pour the noodle mixture over the chicken on the baking sheet. Make sure the noodles are somewhat evenly distributed around the chicken.
6. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the noodles are tender and have absorbed most of the broth. The internal temperature of the chicken should reach 165°F (74°C).
7. While the chicken and noodles are baking, melt the butter in a small saucepan over low heat. Stir occasionally until completely melted and smooth.
8. Once the chicken and noodles are cooked, remove the baking sheet from the oven. Pour the melted butter evenly over the chicken and noodles.
9. Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the top.
10. If using, garnish with chopped fresh parsley.
11. Serve immediately and enjoy!
