🇫🇷 Roast Goose 🍗🌿
Tender and crispy-skinned goose roasted to golden perfection – a festive favorite with deep flavor.
📝 Ingredients
• 1 whole goose (about 4–5 kg)
• 2 apples, quartered
• 2 onions, quartered
• 3 cloves garlic
• 1 tsp thyme
• Salt & pepper
• Fresh rosemary
• 150 ml dry white wine or broth
👩🍳 Instructions
1️⃣ Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
2️⃣ Clean goose and pat dry. Season inside and out with salt, pepper, thyme.
3️⃣ Stuff cavity with apples, onions, garlic, and rosemary.
4️⃣ Place goose breast-side up on a rack in a roasting pan.
5️⃣ Add wine/broth to the pan and roast for 2.5–3 hours, basting every 30 mins.
6️⃣ Let rest 10–15 mins before carving.
7️⃣ Serve with your favorite holiday sides.
