📋 Ingredients
- 1 lb Sirloin steak
- 2 heads Endive lettuce
- 6 cups Mixed spring greens
- 1 cup Cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1/2 Red onion, thinly sliced
- 1 Corn on the cob
- 2 tbsp Basil leaves
- 2 tbsp Parsley
- Zest of 1 lemon
- 1 clove Garlic
- 1/4 tsp Garlic powder
- 4 oz Gorgonzola cheese
- 5 tbsp Balsamic vinegar
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 13/16 cup Extra virgin olive oil
- 1/4 tsp Ground black pepper
- 1/2 tsp Coarse salt
- Dash of salt and freshly ground black pepper
📝 Instructions
1. Preheat your grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.
2. Season the sirloin steak with garlic powder, coarse salt, and ground black pepper. Grill the steak for about 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare or until it reaches your desired doneness. Let the steak rest for a few minutes, then thinly slice it against the grain.
3. While the steak is resting, grill the corn on the cob until lightly charred on all sides. Let it cool slightly, then cut the kernels off the cob.
4. In a large salad bowl, combine the mixed spring greens, endive lettuce, cherry tomatoes, sliced red onion, chopped parsley, basil leaves, and lemon zest.
5. In a small bowl, whisk together the balsamic vinegar, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, ground black pepper, and a dash of salt and freshly ground black pepper. Gradually whisk in the extra virgin olive oil until the dressing is well combined.
