Smoked Salmon Crostini with Dill Cream Cheese Spread


Ingredients:

1 baguette, sliced into ½-inch thick rounds
2 tablespoons olive oil
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
2 tablespoons fresh dill, finely chopped

1 clove garlic, minced
Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
4 ounces smoked salmon, thinly sliced
1 tablespoon capers, drained
1 lemon, thinly sliced into wedges (for garnish)
Fresh dill sprigs (for garnish)

Instructions:

1. Prepare the crostini: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Brush both sides of the baguette slices with olive oil. Arrange them in a single layer on a baking sheet. Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until golden brown and crisp. Set aside to cool slightly.
