PEACH BUTTERMILK BISCUITS
1 cup canned peaches, diced
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 Tbsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. powdered sugar
1/4 cup shortening, cut into tabs
1/4 cup butter (frozen)
1cup + 2 Tbsp. buttermilk, cold
1 egg, beaten
1-2 Tbsp. butter, melted (for brushing over biscuits)

Preheat oven to 450 degrees F.
line baking sheet with parchment paper.
Place diced peaches on a paper towel to absorb juice.
In a mixing bowl whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and powdered sugar. Grate frozen butter. Cut butter and shortening into dry ingredeints until crumbly.
Add the diced peaches to the flour mixture and toss to coat.
Pour in the buttermilk. Gently stir until a soft dough forms.
Flour a clean surface, turn the dough onto it (the dough will be very sticky). Add flour as needed to handle. Knead
Using a biscuit cutter cut biscuit and place on baking sheet. Refrigerate for 20 minutes. Lightly brush the tops of the biscuits

1 cup powdered sugar
1 Tbsp. butter, melted
2 Tbsp. milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
Mix ingredeints together until smooth.
Allow the biscuits to cool slightly, then drizzle with desired amount of glaze.
