2 cups milk (whole or evaporated for richness)

1 ½ cups shredded sharp cheddar

1/2 cup mozzarella

Salt and pepper to taste

1/2 tsp mustard powder (optional)

Paprika (for topping)

Extra cheese for topping and baking

For the Veggies:
1 bunch broccolini or asparagus

1 tbsp olive oil

Salt, pepper, and a pinch of chili flakes (optional)

For the Caramelized Peppers & Onions:

1 green bell pepper, sliced

1 medium onion, sliced

1 tbsp olive oil

1 tbsp butter

Salt and pepper

1 tsp balsamic vinegar or brown sugar (optional, for extra sweetness)

Instructions:Step 1: Cook the Mac & Cheese

Boil macaroni until al dente. Drain and set aside.

In a pot, melt butter over medium heat, stir in flour to make a roux.

Slowly whisk in milk until smooth and thickened.

Stir in cheeses, seasoning, and mustard powder. Combine with pasta.

Pour into a baking dish, top with extra cheese and paprika. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 15–20 min until bubbly and golden.

Step 2: Sear the Steak
Pat steak strips dry and season with spices.

Heat olive oil and butter in a cast iron or skillet on high.

Sear steak 2–3 minutes per side or until desired doneness. Splash in Worcestershire if using. Let rest before slicing.

Step 3: Sauté the Veggies

In a separate pan, toss broccolini in olive oil, salt, and pepper. Sauté or roast for 5–7 minutes until tender-crisp.

Step 4: Caramelize Peppers & Onions
In a pan, melt butter with olive oil over medium heat.

Add sliced onions and peppers. Cook slowly for 10–15 minutes until soft and slightly browned. Add vinegar or brown sugar if desired.

Serve It Up 🍽️
