Cabbage Roll Skillet 🍽️
Delicious and easy one-pan meal for the whole family!
📋 Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 yellow onion, chopped
- 1 bell pepper, chopped
- 1 small head of cabbage, cored and chopped
- 1 14 oz can diced tomatoes
- 2 teaspoons Tony Chacheres Creole seasoning
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 2 teaspoons smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
📝 Instructions
1. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat.
2. Add the chopped onion and bell pepper, and sauté until softened.
3. Stir in the chopped cabbage and cook until wilted.
4. Add the canned diced tomatoes and seasonings (Creole seasoning, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and black pepper) and mix well.
5. Simmer until the cabbage is tender.
6. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top and cover the skillet until the cheese melts.
7. Serve hot.
