Quick Peach Cobbler
Ingredients:
1 (29 oz) can sliced peaches in syrup
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup milk
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 tbsp baking powder
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon (optional)
Pinch of salt
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Pour melted butter into the bottom of a 9x9 inch baking dish.
In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and milk until smooth.
Pour the batter over the melted butter—do not stir.
Spoon the peaches and syrup evenly over the batter—again, do not mix.
Sprinkle cinnamon over the top, if using.
Bake for 40–45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and set.
Let cool slightly before serving. Best enjoyed warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
