🇮🇹 Cantucci (Almond Biscotti)
Crunchy almond biscotti perfect for dipping in coffee—or Vin Santo!
Ingredients:
• 300 g all-purpose flour
• 150 g sugar
• 2 eggs
• 100 g whole almonds
• 1 tsp baking powder
• Zest of 1 lemon
• Pinch of salt
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
2. Mix eggs and sugar until light. Add flour, zest, salt, baking powder.
3. Fold in almonds and knead into a sticky dough.
4. Shape into logs and bake for 25 minutes.
5. Cool slightly, then slice diagonally.
6. Bake slices again for 10–12 minutes until crisp.
