Marry Me Chicken Pasta Recipe
Ingredients:
For the Chicken:
2 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
2 tbsp olive oil
For the Sauce & Pasta:
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup chicken broth
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/3 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
8 oz penne or rigatoni pasta
1 tbsp fresh basil, chopped
Salt and black pepper to taste
Directions:
Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
Season chicken breasts with Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sear chicken breasts for 5–6 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and let rest.
In the same skillet, add garlic and sauté for 1 minute. Deglaze with chicken broth and stir in heavy cream, sun-dried tomatoes, red pepper flakes, and Parmesan cheese.
Simmer the sauce for 3–4 minutes until slightly thickened.
Slice the chicken and return it to the skillet. Add cooked pasta and toss everything together until coated.
Garnish with chopped basil and serve hot.
