Cheesy Garlic Butter Mushroom Stuffed Chicken that’s sure to impress!
Ingredients:
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 cup mushrooms, finely chopped
1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
3 tablespoons butter
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1 teaspoon dried parsley
Salt and pepper to taste
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Fresh parsley, for garnish
Directions:
Preheat Oven:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
Prepare the Chicken:
Cut a pocket into each chicken breast without cutting all the way through.
In a bowl, mix together the mushrooms, cream cheese, mozzarella cheese, garlic, thyme, parsley, salt, and pepper.
Stuff each chicken breast with the mushroom mixture.
Cook the Chicken:
In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
Sear the stuffed chicken breasts for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
Bake the Chicken:
Transfer the seared chicken breasts to the prepared baking sheet.
Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the top of each chicken breast.
Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and the cheese is melted.
