Sausage Cream Cheese Crescents
Ingredients:
1 pound breakfast sausage
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon onion powder
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
1 can crescent roll dough (8 rolls)
Directions:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a large skillet, cook the sausage over medium heat until browned and crumbled. Drain any excess fat.
Stir in the cream cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, and crushed red pepper flakes. Continue cooking, stirring occasionally, until the cream cheese is fully melted and the mixture is smooth. Remove from heat and set aside.
Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate the triangles.
Spoon a small amount of the sausage and cream cheese mixture onto each crescent roll triangle. Roll them up starting from the wide end.
Place the rolled crescents onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown.
Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving.
