Drunken Shrimp
Ingredients:
1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp unsalted butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
1/2 cup chicken broth
1/2 cup clam juice
1/4 cup lemon juice
2 tbsp capers, drained
1 tbsp anchovy paste
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
Salt and black pepper, to taste
Instructions:
1️⃣ Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat. 🥄
2️⃣ Add minced garlic and crushed red pepper flakes, sauté for 1-2 minutes until garlic is golden. 🌶️
3️⃣ Pour in chicken broth, clam juice, and lemon juice. Add capers and anchovy paste, stirring well. 🍋
4️⃣ Bring the mixture to a boil and cook for another 2-3 minutes. 🍲
5️⃣ Add the shrimp to the skillet, season with salt and black pepper. Cook until shrimp are pink and opaque, about 3-4 minutes. 🍤
6️⃣ Stir in chopped parsley and cook for an additional minute. 🌿
7️⃣ Serve immediately, garnished with additional parsley if desired. 🌟
