Easy Pad Thai Sauce- updated recipe
1/2 cup soy sauce or fish sauce
1/2 cup tamarind paste
2 tablespoons chili sauce or chili flakes
6 tablespoons brown sugar or honey
2 tablespoons oil
3 tablespoons minced garlic
Steps:
In a pan, heat the oil, saute the garlic until fragrant. Then add, soy sauce and sugar mix well till melted. Add tamarind paste, chili sauce, mix well until bubbles. Then turn off the heat. Set it aside and ready to use. Store in fridge up to 1 week.
