Deep-Fried Strawberry Cheesecake Stuffed Wonton Bites
Ingredients:
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup fresh strawberries, finely chopped
- 24 wonton wrappers
- Vegetable oil, for frying
- Powdered sugar, for dusting
Directions:
1. In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
2. Fold in the chopped strawberries gently to distribute evenly.
3. Place about 1 tablespoon of the cheesecake mixture in the center of each wonton wrapper.
4. Moisten the edges of the wrapper with water, then fold and press firmly to seal into a triangle or desired shape.
5. Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C).
6. Fry the wonton bites in batches for 2-3 minutes, or until golden brown and crisp.
7. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
8. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
