Blooming Onion Sauce
Ingredients:
½ cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons ketchup
1 tablespoon prepared horseradish sauce
½ teaspoon granulated garlic
½ teaspoon smoked paprika
¼ teaspoon ground cumin
¼ teaspoon dried oregano
½ teaspoon kosher salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions:
In a small bowl, combine the mayonnaise, ketchup, horseradish sauce, granulated garlic, smoked paprika, cumin, oregano, salt, and black pepper.
Stir until everything is well mixed and smooth.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to let the flavors blend.
Notes:
This recipe makes about 4 servings, perfect for dipping onion rings, fries, tater tots, or even fried shrimp.
You can make it ahead and store it in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
