1 unbaked 9-inch pie crust
1 cup light corn syrup
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/3 cup unsalted butter, melted
3 large eggs
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups chopped pecans
1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips

Stir in chopped pecans and chocolate chips.
Pour mixture into prepared pie crust. Top with whole pecans if desired.
Bake for 50–55 minutes, or until the center is just set and slightly puffed.
