Beef Fajita Wrap Recipe
Ingredients:
1 lb flank steak or skirt steak, sliced thinly
1 medium onion, sliced
1 bell pepper (red, green, or yellow), sliced
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon fajita seasoning
1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
4 large flour tortillas
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tablespoons butter (for grilling)
Dipping sauce (optional: salsa, sour cream, or guacamole)
Instructions:
Marinate the Steak: In a bowl, toss the sliced steak with olive oil, fajita seasoning, salt, and pepper. Let it marinate for 15-30 minutes to absorb the flavors.
Cook the Vegetables: Heat a pan over medium-high heat and sauté the sliced onions and bell peppers until they soften and begin to caramelize (about 5-7 minutes). Set aside.
Cook the Steak: In the same pan, add the marinated steak slices and cook for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the steak is cooked through and browned.
Assemble the Wrap: Lay a warm tortilla flat and layer with the cooked steak, sautéed onions, bell peppers, and a generous amount of shredded mozzarella cheese.
Grill the Wrap: Fold the tortilla over the filling and press it lightly. Heat butter in a pan over medium heat and grill the wrap for 2-3 minutes on each side, until golden and slightly crispy with char marks.
Serve: Cut the wrap in half and serve with your favorite dipping sauce on the side.
Enjoy your savory beef fajita wrap!
