π© Quick and Easy Bisquick Cinnamon Rolls π©
Ingredients:
For the dough:
2 cups Bisquick mix
β
cup granulated sugar
β
cup milk
3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted (plus extra for greasing)
For the filling:
ΒΌ cup unsalted butter, softened
Β½ cup packed brown sugar
1 Β½ teaspoons ground cinnamon
For the glaze:
1 cup powdered sugar
2β3 tablespoons milk
Β½ teaspoon pure vanilla extract
Instructions:
Prepare the dough: Preheat your oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C). Grease an 8x8-inch baking pan with butter or nonstick spray. In a large mixing bowl, combine the Bisquick, granulated sugar, milk, and melted butter. Stir until a soft dough forms.
Roll out the dough: Sprinkle a clean surface with Bisquick mix to prevent sticking. Turn the dough onto the surface and knead gently 4β5 times. Use a rolling pin to roll the dough into a 10x12-inch rectangle.
Add the filling: Spread the softened butter evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges. In a small bowl, mix the brown sugar and cinnamon, then sprinkle the mixture evenly over the buttered dough.
Roll and slice: Starting at one of the longer sides, tightly roll the dough into a log. Use a sharp knife to cut the log into 9 equal slices. Place the slices cut-side up in the prepared baking pan.
Bake the rolls: Bake in the preheated oven for 12β15 minutes, or until the rolls are golden brown and cooked through. Remove from the oven and let them cool slightly while you prepare the glaze.
Make the glaze: In a small bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and 2 tablespoons of milk. Add more milk, Β½ teaspoon at a time, until the glaze reaches your desired consistency. Drizzle the glaze over the warm cinnamon rolls.
