🇫🇷 Pâté (French Meat Spread) Smooth and flavorful meat spread, perfect with toast or crusty bread for a chic and savory snack!
Ingredients:
• 300g chicken livers, trimmed
• 1 small onion, chopped
• 2 garlic cloves, minced
• 100g butter (divided)
• 2 tbsp brandy
• 1/2 tsp thyme
• Salt and black pepper
• Black peppercorns & herbs for garnish
Instructions:
1. 🧄 Sauté onion and garlic in 1 tbsp butter until soft.
2. 🍗 Add livers and cook until browned but pink inside.
3. 🥃 Add brandy, thyme, salt, pepper—simmer briefly.
4. 🌀 Blend mixture with remaining butter until smooth.
5. ❄️ Chill in ramekin, top with herbs and serve cold.
