Crock-Pot Spiced Apple Dump Cake
Ingredients:
- 16.5 ounces boxed spice cake mix
- 29 ounces canned apple pie filling (2 cans)
- 3/4 cup unsalted butter (melted)
- 1 cup quick cooking oats
- 1 cup walnuts (chopped, optional)
Directions:
1. Spray the inside of the crock-pot with non-stick cooking spray.
2. Pour the canned apple pie filling evenly into the bottom of the crock-pot.
3. Sprinkle the boxed spice cake mix evenly over the apple pie filling.
4. Drizzle the melted unsalted butter evenly over the cake mix layer.
5. Sprinkle the quick cooking oats evenly over the butter layer.
6. If using, sprinkle the chopped walnuts on top.
7. Cover and cook on low for 3 to 4 hours, or until the top is set and golden brown. Avoid lifting the lid during cooking to maintain temperature.
8. Serve warm, optionally with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.

Tips:
