Buttery Parker House Rolls
Ingredients:
- 1 package active dry yeast
- 1/4 cup warm water
- 1 cup warm milk
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3 tablespoons butter, melted
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- Additional melted butter for brushing
Instructions:
1. Dissolve yeast in warm water and let sit for 5 minutes until bubbly.
2. In a large bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, salt, melted butter, and half of the flour. Mix well.
3. Add the yeast mixture and the remaining flour. Knead the dough until smooth.
4. Cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled in size.
5. Punch down the dough and shape into rolls. Place in a greased baking dish.
6. Cover and let rise again until doubled in size.
7. Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
8. Brush with melted butter before serving.
