- 3 cups cake flour, sifted
- 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
📝 Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a bundt or loaf pan.
2. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
3. Add in the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
4. In a separate bowl, mix together the cake flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the creamed mixture alternately with the sour cream, starting and ending with the flour mixture. Mix until just combined.
6. Pour half of the batter into the prepared pan. Sprinkle some brown sugar on top then add the remaining batter.
7. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
