My version of Pad Thai Sauce
Recipe:
3/4 cup tamarind paste
1/3 cup water
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon fish sauce
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
In a saucepan, add tamarind paste, sugar and water. Mix well till the sugar dissolves. Add fish sauce, soy sauce and garlic powder. Mix well till combined. Simmer for 2 minutes. Remove from stove. Let it cool or use immediately. Store in a jar up to 2 weeks in refrigerator. Enjoy!
