🇮🇹 Crostata di Ricotta (Ricotta Tart)
Creamy ricotta filling in a buttery shortcrust pastry topped with powdered sugar.
Ingredients:
• 1 sweet shortcrust pastry (pasta frolla)
• 500g ricotta cheese
• 150g sugar
• 2 eggs
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• Zest of 1 lemon
• Powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
2. Roll out pastry and line a tart tin.
3. Beat ricotta, sugar, eggs, vanilla, and lemon zest.
4. Pour filling into crust and smooth top.
5. Bake for 40–45 mins. Cool and dust with powdered sugar.
