Bananas Foster ππ¨
**π Ingredients:
- 4 medium bananas (sliced lengthwise or into thick rounds)

cup dark brown sugar, packed
- Β½ tsp ground cinnamon
- 1Β½ tsp vanilla extract
- ΒΌ cup pecans (optional, chopped or halved)
- ΒΌ cup butter
- 4 scoops vanilla ice cream
- Β½ cup dark rum
π¨βπ³ Directions:
1. Melt Butter & Sugar:
In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Stir in the brown sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla. Cook until the sugar is fully dissolved and bubbly (about 2β3 minutes).
2. Add Bananas & Pecans:
Gently add the bananas and pecans to the sauce. Cook for 1β2 minutes until bananas are warmed and coated.
3. FlambΓ© (Optional but Classic):
Carefully add the rum. If desired and safe, ignite with a long lighter to flambΓ©. Let the flames subside (this burns off alcohol and adds flavor).
4. Serve:
Spoon the hot bananas and sauce over scoops of vanilla ice cream. Serve immediately.
