Garlic Butter Steak & Shrimp Surf & Turf
Ingredients:
1 lb ribeye or sirloin steak, cut into strips or cubes
1/2 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
4 tablespoons unsalted butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon dried parsley
Salt and black pepper, to taste
Fresh lemon wedges, for serving
Fresh chopped parsley, for garnish
Directions:
Season the steak with salt, pepper, paprika, and onion powder. Let sit at room temperature for 10–15 minutes.
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Sear the steak for 3–4 minutes per side (depending on thickness) until browned and cooked to your liking. Remove and set aside.
In the same skillet, melt butter. Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
Add shrimp, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 2–3 minutes per side until pink and opaque.
Return the steak to the skillet, toss everything together with the garlic butter, and heat for 1 more minute.
Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges on the side.
