🍐🫐 Baked Pears with Berries, Honey, Walnuts & Blue Cheese 🫐🍐
Ingredients:
4 ripe pears, halved and cored
1/2 cup mixed berries (such as blueberries, raspberries, or blackberries)
1/4 cup walnuts, chopped
2 tablespoons honey (plus extra for drizzling)
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 cup crumbled blue cheese (or goat cheese, if preferred)
Fresh thyme sprigs (optional, for garnish)
Directions:
Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking dish with parchment paper.
Prepare the Pears: Place the pear halves in the baking dish, cut side up.
Add Filling: In a small bowl, gently toss the mixed berries, chopped walnuts, honey, and cinnamon. Spoon this mixture into the center of each pear half.
Bake: Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the pears are tender and slightly golden.
Add Blue Cheese: Remove the pears from the oven and sprinkle crumbled blue cheese over each pear half. Drizzle a little extra honey on top if desired.
