Ingredients:
2 beef steaks,

1/2 tsp cumin,
1 green plantain, peeled and sliced,
1/2 cup vegetable oil (for frying),
1/2 tsp salt (for tostones),
1 cup lettuce, chopped,
1/2 cucumber, sliced,
1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, halved,
1/4 cup grated carrots,
1/2 tbsp apple cider vinegar,
6 asparagus spears, trimmed

Directions:
1. Prepare the Steak: Season the steaks with salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and cumin. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Cook the steaks for 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare, or longer if preferred. Let the steaks rest for a few minutes before serving.
2. Make the Tostones: Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat. Fry the plantain slices for about 2 minutes per side until golden. Remove and flatten them with a spoon or small plate. Fry them again until crispy, then season with salt and garlic powder.
3. Sauté the Asparagus: Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the asparagus, season with salt and pepper, and cook for about 3-4 minutes, flipping occasionally.
4. Prepare the Salad: In a bowl, combine lettuce, cucumber, cherry tomatoes, and carrots. Drizzle with olive oil, apple cider vinegar, salt, and black pepper. Toss well.
5. Assemble & Serve: Plate the grilled steak, crispy tostones, fresh salad, and sautéed asparagus. Enjoy with your favorite dipping sauce or extra seasoning.
