Easy & Nutritious Flaxseed & Almond Flour Pizza Crust (Gluten-Free & Paleo!) 🍕🌿😋
ingredients:
- 1 ½ cups almond flour (165 grams)
- ¼ cup ground flaxseed (30 grams)
- ½ teaspoon salt (2 grams)
- ¼ teaspoon garlic powder (1 gram)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil (15 ml)
- ½ cup warm water (120 ml)
directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. In a medium bowl, combine the almond flour, ground flaxseed, salt, and garlic powder.
3. Add the olive oil and warm water and mix well until a dough forms.
4. Place the dough between two sheets of parchment paper and roll it out into a 10-12 inch (25-30 cm) round pizza base.
5. Carefully peel off the top layer of parchment paper.
6. Transfer the bottom parchment paper with the pizza crust to the baking sheet.
7. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the crust is lightly golden and set.
8. Remove from the oven and add your favorite pizza toppings.
9. Return to the oven for another 5-10 minutes, or until the toppings are heated through and the cheese (if using) is melted.
