Steak with Garlic Cream Sauce 🥩🧄✨
Ingredients (Serves 2-3)
For the Steak:
✔️ 2 ribeye or filet mignon steaks (or your favorite cut) 🥩
✔️ 1 tbsp olive oil 🫒
✔️ 1 tsp salt 🧂
✔️ ½ tsp black pepper
✔️ ½ tsp smoked paprika (optional)
For the Garlic Cream Sauce:
✔️ 3 tbsp butter 🧈
✔️ 4 cloves garlic, minced 🧄
✔️ ½ cup heavy cream 🥛
✔️ ½ cup beef broth 🍲
✔️ ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese 🧀
✔️ 1 tsp Dijon mustard (optional, for depth)
✔️ ½ tsp Italian seasoning 🌿
✔️ Salt & pepper to taste
Instructions
1️⃣ Prepare the Steak 🥩
Pat steaks dry with a paper towel.
Season both sides with salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika.
2️⃣ Cook the Steak 🔥
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add olive oil.
Sear steaks for 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare (adjust for your preferred doneness).
Remove steaks from pan and let them rest while making the sauce.
3️⃣ Make the Garlic Cream Sauce 🧄🥛
In the same pan, melt butter over medium heat.
Add garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
Pour in beef broth, scraping up brown bits. Let simmer for 2 minutes.
Stir in heavy cream, Parmesan, Dijon mustard, and Italian seasoning.
Simmer for 3-4 minutes until thickened. Season with salt & pepper.
4️⃣ Serve & Enjoy! 🤩
Pour the garlic cream sauce over the rested steaks.
Serve with mashed potatoes, roasted veggies, or crusty bread.
